Kristin Cicchetto
USMC, Retired. 100% P&T
Kristin Cicchetto was born in Dade City, Florida. She graduated from high school at the age of 17 and commenced her career working for the federal government as a state federal prison guard. At the age of 20, she enlisted in the United States Marine Corps.
After 21 years of honorable service, Kristin retired in March 2023 as a 100% P&T veteran of the United States Marine Corps. Throughout her career, she dedicated herself to the logistics field, serving as a Maintenance Management Specialist and achieving the rank of Gunnery Sergeant.
Kristin’s service included assignments in Japan, California, North Carolina, Australia, and Hawaii. She participated in numerous humanitarian assistance missions, including providing aid in Sri Lanka in 2004 following the Indian Ocean tsunami and assisting in mainland Japan in 2011 after the Fukushima tsunami. Additionally, she deployed to multiple training operations in Japan, Australia, and Korea. At the peak of her career, she served as the Maintenance Management Officer for the School of Infantry-East in Camp Geiger, North Carolina.
Growing up in central Florida, Kristin started working at the age of 12 on a neighbor’s farm, where she took care of animals and assisted with crop harvests. She continued this job while also working part-time at a local grocery store until she graduated high school. During high school, Kristin was an active participant in softball, soccer, track, cross country, cheerleading, volleyball, and female flag football.
After graduating from high school, she worked as a prison guard until 2002, when she decided to join the military. Kristin is married and has four children. She currently resides in Jacksonville, North Carolina. In her free time, she enjoys sports, hunting, fishing, and spending time with her family.
