Jamal Cook

Jamal is a native of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He joined the US Marine Corps in 1996 and retired in 2020 as a Sergeant Major. Jamal’s military career is marked by a diverse array of roles, including Aviation Logistics, Equal Opportunity Representative, Drill Instructor, and Command Senior Enlisted Advisor. He deployed in support of Operation Enduring Freedom and with the 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit. This extensive experience not only honed his leadership and organizational skills but also instilled a sense of duty toward coaching, mentoring, and developing others.

After leaving the military, he embarked on a career as an automotive sales professional. It was in this profession that Jamal encountered many veterans struggling to access their benefits. He joined Just4Veterans to provide guidance to those who feel overwhelmed by the complexities of the VA system.

His approach is providing service with excellence, patience, and understanding of the unique challenges veterans face; he is committed to walking alongside them every step of the way through the claims process. Through his advocacy, Jamal continues to serve, ensuring that those who have served our country receive the support and assistance they deserve.
