Matt Smith

Matt is originally from Kansas; he joined the United States Marine Corps in May 2001 at the age of 19 and served until 2009. During his military career, he served in Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom. Matt served multiple tours in Iraq as a multi-channel radio operator, setting up several key communication links for phones and data. Matt served as part of the coalition forces supporting partner forces in Fallujah when forces were able to enter the city. After his military service, Matt worked in the private security field for over 10 years before transitioning back into the communication field.

Matt has a practical approach and takes pride in assisting veterans with the VA claim process. He realizes each veteran’s VA claim is personal, making confidentiality a high priority. Matt’s greatest satisfaction comes from providing life-long financial freedom to veterans and their families.
