Carlos was born and is a native of Los Angeles, CA. He has a remarkable background that resonates with his dedication to serving others. With over 21 years of service in the Marine Corps, he retired in 2019 after a successful and accomplished career.

Throughout his tenure, Carlos fulfilled various roles, from an administrator to a Marine recruiter, certified as a Master Instructor and further excelled at other various assignments and deployments. Notably, he was one of the pioneering individuals to achieve the MOS 0919 Force Fitness Instructor (FFI) designation, marking his integral role as the first FFI in the MARSOC community. Alongside his military achievements, Carlos earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration.

In 2023, Carlos joined Just4Veterans, where he passionately serves as a veteran coach. Having experienced the challenges of transitioning from active duty to civilian life firsthand, Carlos is driven to support his fellow veterans as they navigate the complexities of filing or increasing their VA claims. He understands the importance of personalized assistance and offers valuable insights, having been granted a 100% disability rating himself.

Currently, he resides in Jacksonville, NC where Carlos cherishes the company of his wife of over 20 years and their 3 children. Family is a cornerstone of his life, and he takes pride in attending his kids’ sporting events and creating memories together. Outside of his commitments, Carlos loves to travel with family, loves to read and he is a CrossFit enthusiast.
