USMC Retired
Born in South Korea and adopted and raised in Minnesota, Christopher always dreamed of serving the country that gave him so many opportunities. At 18, he joined the U.S. Marine Corps through the buddy program in 1997. Over the course of his 28 years of service, he was stationed in California, Hawaii, Okinawa, Iwakuni (Japan), and Florida. He deployed aboard the USS Essex and the USS Bonhomme Richard to Australia, Bali, and Guam while also serving combat tours in Iraq and Afghanistan. He particularly enjoyed flying the mighty CH-53E as a Combat Aircrewman. Christopher retired in 2025 after a distinguished military career.
A dedicated servant leader, Christopher has always prioritized the well-being of his Marines and Sailors, no matter where he was stationed. After retiring from the military, he became a veteran coach with Just4Veterans, where he continues to serve his fellow veterans by guiding them through the complex VA claims process. He finds immense satisfaction in helping veterans secure their futures and changing their lives by investing in their benefits. His passion for this new role and his commitment to connecting with fellow veterans are evident in everything he does.
Outside of his professional life, Christopher is a loving husband, father, and compassionate friend. He enjoys spending quality time with his family and friends and unwinding by watching Netflix on weekends.
