Veteran Coach Courtney Robinson

Courtney was born in Houston, Texas, and graduated from Barbers Hill High School in 1993. Shortly thereafter, he enlisted in the United States Air Force. Upon completing basic training at Lackland AFB and Fort Dix, NJ, his first and only stateside base was Fairchild AFB, Spokane, WA. His next duty stations, which he considered his ten-year “European vacations,” were in Italy for five years, the Netherlands for four years, and England for a year.

Courtney separated from the military in 2005 and did not apply for any type of disability until 2017. He was awarded 80% and later 90%. He turned to J4V to get him over the hump, and they came through for him! He was so satisfied with their professionalism and commitment that he was awarded 100% P&T in four months. Courtney explained that he has also been helping veterans in the past few years get the disabilities they deserve, so when given the opportunity to join the team, he quickly said yes.

Courtney is a people person and a go getter. His hobbies are playing pickleball, travelling, and going on cruises.
