Coach Gabe Camacho

Gabe is a retired U.S. Army Command Sergeant Major with over 22 years of honorable service and firsthand experience navigating the VA claims and recovery process. A proud servant-veteran, Gabe has dedicated his life to serving Soldiers, veterans, and their families—always leading with humility, accountability, and an unwavering commitment to those in his care. He enlisted in the U.S. Army from Guam in 1998 as a Combat Medic, entering active duty in 2000 after completing training at Fort Leonard Wood and Fort Sam Houston.

Throughout his career, Gabe served in some of the Army’s most demanding operational and medical environments across the United States, Europe, Korea, and the Pacific. He completed three combat tours—one in Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and two in Afghanistan supporting Operation Enduring Freedom—while holding critical leadership roles ranging from Senior Line Medic and First Sergeant to Operations Sergeant Major and ultimately Command Sergeant Major. His career reflects a deep-rooted philosophy of servant leadership, ensuring service members received not only mission-ready support, but dignity, advocacy, and care during their most vulnerable moments.

Gabe is a seasoned senior leader and mentor with extensive experience in medical operations, Soldier recovery, human resources, and organizational leadership. He is a graduate of the United States Army Sergeants Major Academy and holds both a Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences and a Master of Science in Management with a concentration in Human Resources. His distinguished service has been recognized with numerous awards, including multiple Bronze Star Medals, multiple Meritorious Service Medals, and elite badges such as the Combat Medical Badge, Combat Action Badge, and Expert Field Medical Badge.

Since retiring from active duty, Gabe continues his mission of service by advocating for veterans navigating complex systems—particularly those seeking the VA disability ratings and support they have earned through service. As a servant-veteran leader, he prides himself on walking alongside fellow veterans with honesty, discipline, and compassion, providing mentorship from start to finish and ensuring no one is left behind.

Gabe is a devoted husband and proud father. He values faith, family, community service, and mentoring the next generation of leaders. Whether supporting veterans, strengthening families, or serving his community, Gabe remains guided by the same principle that defined his military career: service before self.
