Jon Leonguerrero

Jon was born in San Diego, California and raised in Ewa Beach, Hawaii. After graduating from Aiea High School in 2003, he enlisted into the United States Marine Corps. After thirteen years as an Enlisted Marine and reaching the rank of Gunnery Sergeant (E-7), Jon became a Warrant Officer and reached the rank of Chief Warrant Officer 3 (W-3). He has held four specialties: Ammunition Technician, Foreign Security Force Advisor, Canvassing Recruiter, and Ammunition Officer. During his career, Jon deployed three times. Once to Marjah, Afghanistan as a team Advisor to the Aghan National Army and twice to Southern Europe to conduct crisis response operations throughout the African and European Continents. At the height of his career, Jon was the Executive Officer for a Company of more than 200 Marines.

Growing up with four siblings, competing against each other was a constant occurrence in the Leon Guerrero home. Naturally, Jon found lifelong enjoyment in various organized sports and a few extreme sports/activities. Through sports and a career in the Marine Corps, he also learned the values of teamwork, leadership, and the importance of being a contributing member of society. Jon is married and has two children. Together, they reside in Murrieta, California. Jon spends most of his free time enjoying watching his children play sports.
