Oscar joined the Marine Corps in 1996 and retired in 2020, where he served in the infantry as a 0331 Machine Gunner,  0341 Mortarman, and a 0369 Infantry Unit Leader with several deployments under his belt. Oscar also served as a Marine Corps Drill Instructor 8511/0911 on both Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego and Paris Island. Throughout Oscar’s career, he was meritoriously promoted multiple times from the rank of Corporal, Sergeant, Staff Sergeant, and Gunnery Sergeant. Oscar is a compassionate leader who truly cares for all the men and women he has had the honor of serving next to. Further, Oscar has a passion to help veterans from all branches of service with their VA ratings and get them what they have earned for serving this great nation.
