Public Update – SB‑694

The state of California officially passed SB‑694, and we want our Veteran community and supporters to stay informed.

🔹The law does NOT take effect until January 1, 2027.
🔹Just 4 Veterans Enterprise will continue helping Veterans access their benefits at least until the end of 2026.

🔹 If you are currently working with a coach at Just 4 Veterans, you will not immediately be impacted by this law.
🔹 We are actively working with the National Association for Veterans Rights and our legal counsel to review the bill and its long‑term implications on all Veteran’s rights to choose who assists them with the disability benefits.

As we analyze this legislation, it is important to note:

➡️SB‑694 does not strengthen or protect the fundamental constitutional freedoms our Veterans have earned—specifically freedom of choice and freedom of speech.

➡️ Many in the Veteran community view the bill as a step that may limit, rather than safeguard, these rights.

Our commitment remains unwavering:

✔ Transparency
✔ Compliance
✔ Protecting our mission
✔ Defending the rights and dignity of the Veterans we serve

We will continue to provide updates as our review progresses.

Thank you for your trust and continued support.

Respectfully,
On behalf of the Office of the Chief Executive Officer
